How to install Minecraft on your GeoBook 14M

If you have purchased a GeoBook 14M please follow the steps below to redeem your copy of Minecraft. This guide is only for the GeoBook 14M that is running Windows 11. If you have a different Minecraft Edition GeoBook, click here Claiming Minecraft

Before you begin, please make sure you are signed into the store with your Microsoft Account. Once claimed, you will not be able to transfer Minecraft to a different account.

The minimum age requirement for Minecraft is 7 (UK).

1. Open the Microsoft Store
2. Go to Library > Included with device and click Claim next to Minecraft: Bedrock & Java Edition
3. You'll see the following success message; click Done
4. The 'Included with device' section will now show 'Your device didn't come with additional content'. Search Minecraft in the Microsoft Store and choose the following Minecraft Launcher.
5. Ensure Minecraft Launcher is selected next to 'Editions' and click Install.
6. Click Yes.
7. When Minecraft Launcher has finished installing, click Play. This will open the Minecraft Launcher to the below screen.
8. Log in with the same Microsoft Account that you used to claim Minecraft.
9. Once logged in, select Minecraft for Windows from the left hand side and click Install.
10. Once Installed, click Play
You should now be set-up and ready to go with Minecraft successfully installed on your new GeoBook.

Bedrock or Java?

The GeoBook 14M is designed to run Bedrock and we do not recommend running Java.

No Minecraft?

If Minecraft is not appearing on your device, please try the following:

- Go to Settings> Windows Updates, click 'Check for updates' and run all available Windows updates.

- In the Microsoft Store go to 'Downloads and Updates' and update all the store apps.

- Restart after all updates have been completed. Minecraft should now be available.

If for any reason this isn't the case and you're having difficulty getting Minecraft installed, please contact our support team for assistance.
